United States Presidential Candidate from Japan.
A message to all of the people of the world.
My name is Toyama Koichi.
I'm a revolutionary in Japan, One of America's "51st" states.
There's something I can't accept.
I researched the electoral system hoping to run for President
of the United States.
But apparently not only am I barred from running.
It seems I am also unable to vote!
What is the meaning of this!
I expect you know too America currently comprises the entire
America always sticks its finger in the pie interfering
in global affairs.
In some cases rushing to the scene.
Relegating to itself the role of problem solver.
This kind if behavior is beyond comprehension.
Without the understanding that everywhere is America.
It's a fact.
America literally encompasses the entire world.
I truly love America.
Let me tell you a story.
I was a political prisoner for two years.
The instant I was released.
I ran to McDonald's.
I had a Big Mac and a Coke.
It was fantastic.
Hollywood movies are usually my favorites.
And I love the Beatles.
Shut up! Isn't England America too!
Anyway I love America.
And I'm proud to be an American.
Well, I WAS proud.
Then I discovered I couldn't vote.
My fatherland has betrayed me.
Did you know?
Although the population of America is over 6 billion.
Fewer than 2 hundred million can vote.
Wasn't it supposed to be a democracy?
However presently only 1/30th of the citizens make the decisions.
What kind of democracy is that?
I've given up hope.
I have no hope for a democracy where representation is under
I can't stand it anymore.
I'm taking matter into my own hands.
I'm going to go ahead and run for president of the United
I'm an American.
I have a fundamental right to run for office.
And this is my message to all the people of the world.
You are all Americans.
You all have the basic right.
To vote in this presidential election.
And still,I urge you
To join me in an abstention protest.
And in this election.
I'll consider all who do not vote to be my adherents.
Blank votes and invalid votes are mine too.
Yes,I've already won.
The most votes they can get are in the tens of millions.
But even if I do nothing I'll get more than 6 billion votes.
My message to the 1/30th who rule us:
If you want to block my inauguration.
Immediately give suffrage to the other 6 billion.
Or stop intervening in world affairs.
Leave matters in Iraq to the Iraqi people.
Leave matters in Iran to the Iranian people.
Leave matters in Korea to the Korean people.
Leave matters in Japan to us Japanese people.
Leave all matters to the people who live there.
Your plan was wrong from the start.
You hoped to change the world into America.
As president of the United States of America
I pledge to apologize for those policies.
Acknowledge the United States as only a part of North America.
And divide the rest of the world into about 200 independent
